Winthrop

July 9- 13, 2018

We arrived at Silverline RV Park for our annual trip. We stopped in town to have lunch. The weather is supposed to be nice, but hot for the week. I went fishing in the evening and caught a couple of nice rainbow trout. We sat out in the evening and met some nice people. Jane and Darrel are from Richmond, BC. They spend almost the entire summer at the park.
After breakfast we went to town to wander the streets and check out some of the shops. We visited Lost River Winery and had lunch at a local Mexican restaurant.
On Wednesday our friends Derrick and Colleen Edwards and their girls arrived from BC. They are a very nice family that we met a few years ago. Their family and I went fishing after dinner and we all caught fish.
We met the Edwards' family for lunch on Thursday at the local cidery. Then back to the park for an afternoon of relaxing before fishing in the evening. A couple of guys had gone fishing near Omak and caught some very nice trout. One weighed over 4 pounds. Here's a pic of a couple of their fish.

The drive to Bellingham over the North Cascade Pass was beautiful and uneventful. We stayed until Monday and drove hole to get ready for our next outing
